Mallet

Mallet is a sort of sledge, frequently made of elastic or once in a while wood, that is littler than a batter or scarab, and ordinarily has a generally huge head. The term is unmistakable of the general size and extents of the apparatus, and not the materials it might be made of, however, most hammers have striking appearances that are milder than steel.
